Although Ellen and Trevor were both born and raised in Atlanta, GA, it took a trip 5,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean for them to finally meet. They were both marketing majors at The University of Georgia, but their paths never crossed until they both attended UGA’s study abroad program in Oxford, England. They spent two months getting to know each other across the pond, and when they got back to the states they knew they had something special. After a few more years together in Athens and Atlanta, they got engaged on their trip to Italy in September 2010.
Ellen and Trevor were married on July 16, 2011 in Athens, Georgia. Their ceremony in Galleria II at The Foundry Park Inn was as touching as it was beautiful. The magnificent bouquets and boutonnières were designed by Gardenia. Ellen and Trevor’s reception was a party to remember! The Highballs played a mix of the epic hits of the 80s and the truly timeless old-school classics, and there wasn’t a single person at the wedding who didn’t dance. The Melting Point (at The Foundry Park Inn) is the perfect venue for a reception that rocks!
The whole day, from getting ready to the ceremony, through the cake cutting and reception, all the way to the departure of the bride and groom went smoothly thanks to the hard work of Consultants Unlimited. There was even time built in for Ellen and Trevor to have a private, emotional ‘first look’ before the ceremony and to go downtown for some Classic City photos at the Arch, North Campus, and Sanford Stadium.
